Over the last 15 years I’ve met many women who have been through the heartbreak of losing a much wanted baby. Sometimes these women have been my friends and other times I have met them through work, providing counselling to them. In addition to this, I have personal experience of my own baby losses, each one devastating in its own unique way.

Every woman’s experience is deeply personal but throughout this time, listening to their stories I have come to notice common themes. This blog is a composite of our stories, taking experiences that I have been privileged to hear, in the hope that they might strike a cord for you and help you to realise that, despite the inexplicable stigma still associated with baby loss, you are not alone.
